🍄This is a special chapter. (1) The city where I live had ONE local case at the end of May,then everything changed. We didn't have any local cases since April or May Last Year, everything ran normally since then.We were back in our office building to work on 1st, March Last Year. Then Gyms, restaurants, the Yoga center I've kept going, cinemas, and other placese started to reopen.Like nothing is different from before, except that we had to wear masks. But that's normal for Aisan culture.I guess because we experienced SARS in 2013. But slowly and slowly, people began to not wear masks. We enjoyed our life everyday. However, happy life finished suddenly. Because of only one case(the infection is a 75 years old grandma, not my grandma),the whole city reacted so quickly.Within 1-2 hours, the hospital cars drove to the downstairs of our flats buildings, because the grandma came here to eat before, then staffs of the building came and knocked,to ask us to go down to do the PCR test. At the same time, they tracked all the people around this grandma and contacted them. Then,in one week, they tested over 7millions people around our community and found around 20-30 people were positive, basically they were all closed people with the grandma, and they blocked some areas where those infections live.Just in a few days,I think only in about 5 days, gyms, restaurants, and others were ordered to close again. Now not only my community, but also extend to other areas of the city, and even other cities around Guangzhou, they began to massive test and take reactions. We have nearly 20 millions people living in this city.So far, they tested three times in our area, and totally they tested over 10millions people in two weeks. A joke here, government promoted vaccine for half a year, but not many people wanted to get it. A 75 years old grandma only spend half a day,and now people rush to get vaccination. (2) is to be continued on next post.
