does the term "adversative" has the meaning of "supportive"? as the question described,when you say you are adversative while expressing you attitude towards sth. , do you mean you are suppportive or actually the reverse?

it is the expression of an opposite view. this particular word isn't a very commonly used word in English. we are more likely to make a sentence using 'the/an adverse view' or more likely 'the/an opposing view'

The reverse. When you are 'adversative' you are rather opposing something. When 2 things are 'adversative' they are contradictive, affirming the opposite or contrary of each other.
