In some beliefs a bad deed will create a bad karma, that will be transferred from one to another and never therefore dies.
However it is rather believed that a bad dead could be made up for with a good dead so its negative effect dies out.

遗臭万年。
This is a Spanish proverb referring to a bad wound which can never heal. It can either be a physical wound or something you have said or done that cannot be fixed.

that means that if you did something bad to someone or someone did the same to you then it will soon definitely return to you/him and you/he will be punished=)
