"Manque pierda"?
Hey community, I'd be happy if you could answer me this question.
"Viva er Betis manque pierda!", that's the motto of Real Betis. But what does "manque pierda" mean? I can't find a translation.
Thanks in advance!

"Viva er Betis manque pierda" is a widely used colloquial expression, known to fans of the football team Betis (from Seville). They love passionately their team even if he loses almost every time.
You can't translate the phrase in a dictionary because it uses words written to simulate the Andalusian way of speaking, which doesn't exist in the dictionary.
The phrase would be typed correctly as: "Viva el Betis aunque pierda".
