Meaning of 'Ten' in English
I heard that the Japanese word 'Ten', meaning Heaven and such, also means immortal and that in folklore the Kanji for 'Ten' would be on someone who has become immortal. Is this true?

2: heaven;
3: (Buddhist term) svarga (heaven-like realm visited as a stage of death and rebirth);
4: (Buddhist term) deva (divine being of Buddhism)
It's all in the dictionary.

天(ten)、天国(tengoku) means "heaven" but I've never heard it also means "immortal".
