In your country, do female employees still sever green tea to their male managers? and are there many women in powerful positions? and do families consider that sons are better than daughters to be son preference culture? My dear friends, please help me to answer the both questions, many thanks in advanced!

In England, men and women are equal in society. However women often want to take a career break to have children so there are fewer women in powerful positions then men. Choosing a man for a job instead of a woman simply because he is a man is illegal in England, the law says they must be treated equally. In answer to your other question, nearly all families consider boys and girls to be equally to be desired (wanted).

Hi, Silencioso de la lavanda, "serve a man green tea" here just a example to represent "glass-celling of women's career"

No, they serve me green tea. Why would I serve a man green tea? ;)

In Italy actually a woman is paid less than a man, even if they have the same skills and type of job and responsibilty. Moreover, a woman usually have to choose between carrere and family. Luckily a son or a doughter are desired at the same manner, even if we notice that a son has more benefits than a daughter (such as less responsibilities in the family).
