What's the difference between Story and History? Hello guys, I've been really confused lately about these words. I used know but I forgot it. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the difference is that: you use History to talk about something that has happend a long time ago and Story is something that happend not so long?

Histoy is something real happened in the past. Story can be a novel,essay,something real happened or not.
