Japanese word "koto" usage Everytime i saw the word "koto" use in sentence, i don't understand the meaning, anyone can share with me, how this "koto" to be used.

Good Question! Particularly confusing for new learners... Its difficult to describe the word "koto" in english as there is no exact translation available. However, I'd like to explain it as "everything about (the topic being talked about)" for example: KIMI NO KOTO = everything about you...that means you and your traits, characteristics etc etc... A more frequent usage is "~IU KOTO" which maybe loosely translated as "the thing, about which, is being talked about" For furthur clarification, please reply
