what's the differences between "convey" and "express"--> What's the difference between "convey" and "express"?
"Convey" and "express" can overlap, especially when you are talking about feelings or emotions. In these situations, I generally use "convey" when I am expressing great emotion at a solemn event, such as a wedding or a funeral. For example, "I would like to convey my regret at hearing about your uncle's passing."
You hear "express" more often: "Express yourself. Show your feelings. Express yourself with your body, your music, your writing, and your art."

Convey is to make an idea or feeling understandable to someone while express is to convey the idea or feeling into words or gestures.
