"consent" and "approval" It has to get the approval from the management. It has to get the consent of the management. Which one is better?

Generally, "approval" means they agree with it and allow you to do it, while "consent" means simply that they allow you to do it (they may or may not approve). So the word you choose depends on who the people giving the permission feel about the action.

Hi you could say:It has to get the approval from the management. It has to get the consent of the Board of Directors..
