For those studying Tagalog, what is the meaning of the word "Taal" and "urong" (note: bit deep)
like "taal ka bang taga rito?" and "ikaw ang mag urong" and "mag urong ka na"

I think you mean "tagal" not taal. Tagal ka bang taga rito? means - How long have you been living here? and cowboy is right,"urong" means move backward. So
"ikaw ang mag urong" = you move backward
and "mag urong ka na" = move backward now

If your trying to ask the meaning "taal"( not the the volcano)it simply meas your a native to that place,
While "urong" means move backward.
