How do I say 'she made herself comfortable'?
Thanks once again for the help with my previous questions.
How do I say in German 'she made herself comfortable'?
My guess would be (as a literal translation);
'es sich bequem machen'
bu would imagine that this is probably an English expression and that the German bears no relation to this?
Thanks, Gem

She made herself comfortable.
Exact translation would be: Sie machte es sich bequem.
Most Germans, however, tend to use the perfect tense over the past tense for everything that's past.
So it would be "Sie hat es sich bequem gemacht".
Therefore, your guess was pretty much right.
