Alle or alles?
Is there any difference between the use 'alle' and 'alles'?
A dictionary definition does not seem to make any distinction. I want to say;
'I hope ALL goes well'
Ich hoffe, dass alle gut geht
Ich hoffe, dass alles gut geht
Please feel free to correct the entire sentence if there is a better way of saying it.
Thanks, Gem

As far as I know: "alle" is equivalent to "all" (people) in english, and "alles" to "everything".

alles (singular) = everything
alle (plural) = everyone
Alles ist gut.

"Ich hoffe, dass alles gut geht." is the right form.
