이다
i-da
(ee-da)
[To be] - copula (not verb)
________
Good question! By the way, Korean verbs (and adjectives) do not conjugate according to number, gender, or speaker as in Spanish and English. Therefore:
I am
You are
He, She is
We are
Y'all are
They are
etc...
all will use 이다 and the same conjugation (though formality levels may change, the conjugation does not. It is all very regular or patterned).
And, I'm sure you've heard this before, but try to lose your dependancy on romanization and pronunciation as soon as possible. Practice many listening exercises for practice. i.e. watch a video and listen, watch things subbed in Korean, songs with Korean lyrics (maybe slower songs), and read-aloud stories with audio.(:
