i.e. is from Latin, /id est/ with meaning /that is/, or /in other words/.
e.g. is for /exempli gratia/ or /example given/, and is similar to /for example/.

e.g= we should use it when presenting example
i,e is a phrase stands for "that is". we should use it to explain or rephrase a sentence
and e.g is short form of "for example" no difference between them,
