A body bag is a plastic bag with a zipper large enough to store a dead body. Police will put a dead body in a body bag to take it to the morgue - a place where deceased (dead) bodies are examined for possible crimes. "Home of the Body Bags" is a book about Los Angeles street gangs written by Terril C. Wright. The term "home of the body bags" refers to an area controlled by the gangs in which a high number of murders and killings occur, caused by wars between gangs - giving a need for the body bags.
