As you have some basics, why don't you try the "Flash Cards". you can make a small cards and try to recognize and read the words. after getting improve in reading words, you can make a flash cards for sentences..... after that you should start reading some paragraphs. try it... it was helpful for me when I was learning English and Chinese....
