Is 'air-hostess' really old-fashioned? I just looked up the word 'air hostess' in my English-Chinese dictionary. It says that this word is old-fashioned. So you English-speaking guys don't use it any longer nowadays, right? Then what kind of words do you use instead? Thank you so much for everyone's help!~

In the world of gender neutral language, we try to avoid words like "air-hostess". There are both men and women who perform that function, and some people get upset when we use language biased to one or the other. These days, people say "cabin steward", I believe. The word "attendant" has a nice unbiased flair, as well.
