Gavin, to slosh....to cause (a liquid) to move in a noisy or messy way The child sloshed the water in the tub. to slosh down....to drink quickly and perhaps noisily I ate like a pig at Goods Restaurant and then sloshed down a beer or two at Lloyds Bar Upon their return to the car Lee lit up a Camel and sloshed down a Coke.

In addition to Denis' suggestions I would say that in Britain I believe I've heard it used to mean 'raining very heavily'. Although we have a multitude of ways to say that because it's a frequent occurance...

in America... nothing... slosh is a verb we use to describe the sound of something something that's wet and thick... can you use it in a sentence?
