Lithuanian pronunciation
Right now, I'm studying the Lithuanian alphabet and I don't understand the difference in the sounds between the vowels and their "nosinė" counterpart. Can someone help me with this?

Basically the "nosinė" is a sign which means the prolonged pronunciation. The vowels with the "nosinė" sign (ą, ę, į, ų) are always pronounced prolonged while their counterparts (a, e, i, u) are pronounced differently in different situations: i and u are always short while a and e can be either short or long depending on the particular word.
