'Is the movie good' or 'Was the movie good' ?
What is the difference between these two sentences?
If I want to ask if the movie is good or not, which one should I use?

You could ask either question of someone who knows the movie to find out if they thought that it was good.
The sense of the second sentence is that you are asking someone that you know has just recently seen the movie for an opinion.
But either question would be OK.
