Trendy = fashionable, smart, popular, current, groovy, swank, in vogue
Scruffy = atrocious, cheesy, dingy, gross, grungy, pathetic, ratty, scuzzy, shabby
Formal = accepted, approved, ceremonial, correct, courtly, established
Sporty = casual, chic, flashy, gay, jaunty, rakish, showy, snazzy, spiffy, swell
Professional = businesslike, excellent, functional, official, sharp, slick

well apart from just stating the way one wears and carries himself/ herself there can be variation of clothing styles like : ethnic , traditional, designer, casual, formal, semi-formal, trendy the list can go on.
