You said that 小心谨慎 and 细致认真 as 4-character terms -- they both considered 成语, I don't think 细致认真 is a 成语（idiom）, only 小心谨慎 here is an Chinese idiom, the other two are both common expressions. 1. do's and don'ts literally means "该做什么和不该做什么". I think 行为准则 is the short way to say that, which tells us how to behave ourselves. But if you translated it as 如法炮制 or 按部就班, I would say they are not accurate and faithful to the original texts. 如法炮制 means "do the same things by imitating others" and it carries a little bit negative implication. As for 按部就班, it is a bit close to what I translated, but its emphasis is on "staying within the lines", which is commonly used to describe someone who doesn't like to break the rules. 2. Similarly these three idioms except 一丝不苟 are used in totally different situations, in which 细致认真and 无微不至 , 面面俱到 are not interchangeable at all. 一丝不苟 might fit some situations to mean "dot one's i's and cross one's t's", but not all the situations. You can say "老板很挑剔，我们要细致认真一些" to mean "The boss is very picky. We need to dot all the i's and cross all the t's", in which situation you can't say "我们要一丝不苟一些' 无微不至：if someone looks after your health very carefully, you can say that to him/her. 面面俱到：it means "cover all the bases" 3. Exactly, mind one's p's and q's = “behave yourself”, watch what you say and do；I think we can also say 谨言慎行 here instead. when it comes to 情莫多妄，口莫多言, it mean "don't run your mouth off and something would be better left unsaid' 兢兢业业 is a little bit far-fetched, it is used to describe very dedicated and hard-working people.
