What's the meaning of "crowd" in this sentence?
Two people running a business is different. When there's a crowd there's someone to help out, and when there isn't, at least you have someone to talk to.

"When there is a crowd of customers you have someone to help out taking care of them and when there are only a few or no customers, you at least have someone to talk to."
