sàng khôn....what does this mean
I have seen this word in an article I am reading many times but cannot find a meaning for it in the dictionary.
for example:
chị Jenny Hạnh cũng đã trải nghiệm và tích lũy được thêm rất nhiều sàng khôn
Có những sàng khôn chứa đầy những kinh nghiệm phải làm gì, cần mang gì trước những chuyến chụp hình xa.
can anyone provide a clear explaination?

both of your two sentences are not right.
In vietnamese, we only use "sàng khôn" only in a proverb (not use in other cases)
"Đi một ngày đàng học một sàng khôn"
"Sàng" is a household appliances like basket.
"Khôn" is experience, smater
"Sàng khôn" is a basket of experience. As bangvuthe wrote above, it means that the more life experiences you gain each day,the smarter you become.

Hi,it's just the way of talking about "gainning more real life experiences ",so you will be much more thoughtful and better at dealing with the fitting situation in the near future.
In Vietnam ,we say "đi một ngày đàng,học một sàng khôn".it means that the more life experiences you gain each day,the smarter you become.
Hope we can exchange language soon.feel free to add me onto your skype: thebang.vu
