"There is no expedient to which man will not resort to avoid the real labor of thinking."
Can someone rephrase this one, or simply explain it? I can't seem to understand it.
Thank you.Oh wait. I think it means.
- A man will go to every expedient to avoid the real labor thinking?

An "expedient" is a means of attaining a goal, usually in a way that is considered somewhat improper, immoral, or sacrificial.
Basically, the statement means that people will use anything they can to avoid having to think too hard.
