Angelo: What is the difference between 'a kind of things' and 'things of a kind'? Which form of the main verb in a sentence of which the former is the s (a) we should refer to "a kind of THING" you see, rather than a kind of THINGS. (b) "things of a kind" is a rather awkward useage. It would be simpler just to refer to sentences as follows: What kind of a thing is it? It is the kind of thing where a particular kind of care is necessary. What kind of a thing will work in this situation? We need to chose the correct kind of thing to answer the test question.
