If I make a decision between doing A or B, I choose between them. I have no intention at that point. If I decide to do A, then my intention is to do A. I will HAVE the intention (currently), but my decision was MADE before the decision. (Of course, the decision can be one of any number of choices.) Think of a decision as an event that happens once; think of an intention as a continuing condition or state. If I intend to do something without making a decision.
