Come on in
Hi!
What does mean "Come on in"? I don't understand this construction.
I know very good the phrase "come in'. But why and what for can we use preposition "on" in that phrase?

'Come on in' is just another way of saying 'you may enter'.
If you go to visit a friends house, they could invite you inside the house by saying 'come on in'.
The only other example I can think of which is similar is 'come on aboard'. For example, if you are standing beside a ship the captain could invite you onto the ship by saying 'come on aboard'.
