Do you mean "I'm a little thrown off?"
When you say "I'm a little thrown off" means you are a little confused or surprised (in a bad way). It is not the same as "I'm flattered", which means you are happy about someone praising you, usually said right after the praise. Also to mean that you appreciate the praise.
Hope this helps.
