your friend is correct, but it has a different impact if you will tell it to other Filipinos.
it is better to use sobra or lubos or lubha (all of them means so much) than masyado because masyado is kinda negative to use in this sentence. so you can say:
- 'Sobra/Lubos/Lubha akong nasisiyahan sa Pilipinas, ayoko (or ayaw ko) nang bumalik sa Amerika'
or
-'Ako ay sobrang nasisiyahan sa Pilipinas, ayoko (or ayaw ko) nang bumalik sa Amerika'
-'Ako ay lubhang nasisiyahan sa Pilipinas, ayoko (or ayaw ko) nang bumalik sa Amerika'
-'Ako ay lubos na nasisiyahan sa Pilipinas, ayoko (or ayaw ko) nang bumalik sa Amerika'
using '-ng' after sobra and lubha has same use like 'na' which was after lubos
'-ng' is used if the last letter of the word is vowel
'na' is used if the last letter of the word is consonant
