Esther-Hadasah
One Hebrew Question I dont understand this sentence:" הייתה לי פגישה עם דינה." why used "hayita" in this sentence? what does hayita mean here? I think because of pgisha, so should use hayita, cauz pgisha is a female word, am I right?? Toda

yes, you're right. "haita" means "was" for female. (and "ha'ia" for male). the meaning of the sentence: "I had a meeting" but in hebrew the N it's the "pgisha", so the sentence in hebrew it's like: "it was meeting, for me" which sounds weird in english :))
