駐在員 chuzai in - resident officer
Hi, I would like to check how to say in English for "Chuzai in" in Japanese.
When I consult dictionary, there is "resident officer" or "staff who is stationed".
If I(Japanese) were ordered to go to US for my job and need to stay for several years, how do you call me?
I'm a resident officer.
Is it correct?

You would be referred to as "stationed abroad". I don't think there is a technical name for this, as nobody in the US cares where you are from. You would be treated there in exactly the same way as anybody else.
