"Good grief" is an expression used to indicate shock, or surprise at an event or a concept. It can also be used humorously. For example: "I have fourteen cars." "Good grief! Why do you have so many?"

You don't. It's an interjection. "Good grief!"

Both examples already given are correct. However, it is a very old expression. I wouldn't use it if I was you.
