나타나다 and 드러나다 means the same ... Both means to appear, to come out, to show up, to present oneself,to emerge, to figure.. But I always hear 나타나다 used in kpop songs lol

Oh, no they aren't the same at all!!! 나타나다 is like something pops out suddenly, surprisingly. 드러나다 is like something (information, that you can't touch) is revealed 앞에 남자가 갑자기 나타났어! 고통스러운 사연 드러났어
