What's the difference between "Poetry" and "Poem"? Which word between them is often used?
Which sentence is more correct:
- I like writing poetry / I like writing poetries.
- I like writing poem / I like writing poems.

Poetry is a group of poems and a poem is a piece of poetic writing. I like writing poetry is commoner than I like writing poems. Poesy is another term which means poetry, but it is not very common.

Say "I like writing poetry". A poem is a single example of poetic writing. You could also say "I like writing poems".
