How do you say, "don't say that," in Arabic.
I needed to say this one day and couldn't figure out how to put it :-).

in egyptien accent : متقلش كدا
in formal arabic : لا تقل ذلك

la taqol thalik
The (th) in "thalik" is read as the are pronounced in the definite article "the"
la: followed by a verb = dont do that.
taqol = u say (present tense)
thalik = that (for masculine) VS telka (feminine)

Thank you very much guys--for all of your help :-). I now see how bad my Arabic really is LOL. This is how I was putting it, "laa/Mish takalam hadha." I also am confused as to when to use Mish or laa.
