It means that you are in trouble. For instance, if you need to find a Christmas gift for someone that you forgot to get a present for and all the stores are closed. You are in a squeeze because you have to meet this person in a few hours and you have no gift for them and feel like a loser for having forgotten to get them something.
Also, if you told your boss that you would find a contractor to work on a particular project on a given date and then on that day you haven't found one, then you are in a squeeze because your boss is expecting results and you haven't found anyone to work on the project yet, etc.
