What's the difference between "translation"and"interpretation"

Technically speaking, translation involves written languages, while interpretation involves spoken(or signed) languages.

Translation is the process of translating words from one language to another.
My grandmother only speaks Spanish, so I have to translate for her.
Interpretation is explaining the meaning of something, and is more subjective.
We each interpret our experiences and reality in a way that makes sense to each of us.

I think translation it depends on the dictionary whether interpretation depends on the person. so every person has their own interpretation.
