The difference between "talk to sb" and "speak to sb" Can anyone tell me the difference between "talk to sb" and "speak to sb"? Please give me some examples and tell me when should I use "talk to sb" or "speak to sb" and in what situation I should use "talk to sb" or "speak to sb". Thanks.

There isn't any significant difference between the two.

There really is no difference between the two. Just personal prefrence. Talking with somebody might sound a little more personal, but there is no difference in meaning
