"Wise" can mean "in a particular matter". Weather wise, Sydney is perfect this time of year. ("Regarding the weather....) Money wise we are fine, but it's hard to find the time for a holiday. I found this example in an article: "a rare blank day goal-wise from Wayne Rooney." (a rare day WR scored no goals) (Some times the hyphen will be added, sometimes not.)

The word "work-wise" means "concerning work" or "having to do with work" or "about work" So the sentence would roughly correspond to "What is your current situation concerning your work?" Though it's not very common in English.

Relating to or at. Also, I think you would put an about in between more and what and is is not needed.

The other answers are too complicated. The question means "Do you have a job?"
