How do you express "ever" in German?
Hi, I cannot solve this problem: I would like to express for example: Have you ever been to London? I am Czech and in my language it is simply expressed by word "někdy", however in dictionary there are 9 words, that fit to někdy, and I am pretty sure that not all of them would express it :)
Thanks!

It depends on the context.
Have you ever been to London? = Bist du jemals in London gewesen? Bist du schon mal in London gewesen?
For other contexts, you should use other words. There's a reason why there are 9 choices. :-)
