"actuality" and "fact"
Could anyone tell me that if the phrase "in fact" and "in actuality" are interchangeable? Is there any difference between the words "actuality" and "fact"?

I agree with Di. People use the word 'actually' as an alternative to 'in fact' (possibly rather too much!) , but we very rarely use 'in actuality'. I'd forget about it, if I were you.

They mean pretty much the same thing, but not many people would say 'in actuality' - it makes the speaker sound rather pretentious (using long words to pretend they know what they are talking about!)
