Does incomplete statistics sound strange to you? The original Chinese is 不完全统计. And many people translate it into "incomplete statistics". My first reaction is that it would be better if we put it "rough statistics“. Could you please help me determine which version is better or help provide another more appropriate version? Thank you in advance! : )

There is a difference, surely? 'Incomplete' means there is information missing. 'Rough' means 'approximate'.
