Fully booked or all taken I 'd like to make sure which is correct? At a theater box office. A: Hello, I'd like to buy two tickets for Friday night. B: I'm afraid Friday is ( ). 1. all taken 2. fully booked 3. in demand 4. no more I think #3 and #4 are incorrect. I've learned "Today is fully booked," or "We are fully booked." So #2 would be correct. Could I think #1 "Friday ( night tickets are) is all taken?" because it's OK to say "The tickets are all taken." Could #1 also be correct? Thank you.

#2 is the best answer #1 isn't quite right. You might say that 'The seats are all taken', but 'Friday is all taken' doesn't make much sense.

If you have to answer this particular question as 1 2 3 or 4, the only answer would be no 2. I'm afraid Friday is fully booked,

More often than not (in the US, at least) the response would be something like "Sorry, Friday's performance is all sold out."
