How do you use “The same as”and“as same as”

I've had a look for real examples on news and blogs, and the phrase "as same as" isn't really correct at all. Even the news examples I found (all twenty-two of them) sounded awkward and poorly-written.
You use the phrase "the same as" to show that one thing is no different to another, or the comparison is equal.
You use "as [adjective] as" to show both things are equal, in regards to the adjective.
It looks like "as same as" is a confusion of the two. Beware of this.
