what does this sentence mean? His eyes were darting and furtive and you disbelieved him before he even opened hjs mouth. Does that mean you disbelieved him until he opened his mouth or you disbelieved him even though he opened his mouth? Can somebody explain this part for me? thank you very much!

It means because he looked furtive you didn't trust /believe him BEFORE he even said anything,he appeared to be dishonest.
