'What have you been up to?' Hay un equivalente en español? En inglés es bastante común preguntar al otro 'What have you been doing lately?' o 'What have you been up to lately?' o 'how's life been treating you lately?' Me gustaría saber: Es común preguntar a alguien en esta manera en español? Si es el caso, como se lo dice en español? Si no, qué dicen hispanohablantes comúnmente para iniciar una conversación casual con un conocido o amigo?

My Spanish-speaking friends frequently say "¿Qué me cuentas?" when we run into each other. I take it to mean, "What have you been up to lately?" Maybe a native speaker can verify this.

You can say: ¿Que hay de nuevo? ¿Que has hecho de tu vida? ¿Cómo te trata la vida? ¿Que has hecho últimamente? Saludos desde México :)

En Argentina preguntamos de la siguiente forma: ¿Cómo va todo? ¿Qué es de tu vida? ¿Todo en orden? ¿Qué hay de nuevo?
