Hello, in Uruguay we call it : accidente cerebro vascular (ACV),and also we use the same English word,stroke. El ACV (accidente cerebro vascular) puede ser isquémico o hemorrágico. También se le puede decir ictus ,o apoplejía. I hope this is what you wanted to know.

I tink that it depends on context. If you are talking about diseases, the correct translations would be apoplejía derrame cerebral You can check it on wordreference.com for more translations.
