Doubt with verb suggest
In this phrase " I suggested that she go to that store", why is not correct to write "I suggested that she goes to that store".
Please, someone may clarify this rule.

" I suggested that she go to that store" is a subjunctive construction. I think it would be the same as 'Aconselho que ela vá' in Portuguese.
The present subjunctive form is the same as the regular (indicative) form, except for the lack of 's' in the third person. This is quite a formal construction, and native speakers often avoid it.
In most everyday contexts is it usually acceptable to say 'I suggested that she goes'. This is one of those odd cases in English grammar where the correct form often looks and sounds less 'right' than the incorrect form.
